Breathing Out

Added October 2022

Delighted to say that my print Every Cloud has been selected for ArtCan’s new virtual exhibition Breathing Out.

The waiting is over; Climate Change is here. We are in an anxious time, holding our breath, watching developments unfold as scientists,  governments and ordinary people scramble to find solutions and alternative behaviour to save the planet as we know it. This exhibition will showcase the ArtCan artists’ reactions to Climate Change.

As well as the emotive response, we are exploring hope, going forward, the innovations and positive changes we see happening around us.

The exhibition has been curated by Hannah Pratt, Catherine Fenton and Lawrence Mathias, and will be hosted on ArtCan’s virtual gallery from the 6th of November until the 6th of January.

Seeds of the Mind

Added May 2022

Delighted to announce that my print Under the Stars has been selected for BobCat Gallery’s new virtual exhibition, Seeds of the Mind.

The exhibition focuses on small scale, original artworks linked to dreams, imagination and introspection. Taking its title from a metaphor sometimes used to describe dreams, the exhibition will show a collection of pieces linking to our inner worlds, and landscapes of our imagination.

It sounds dreamy and I can’t wait to explore all the artists’ worlds!

The PV takes place online on the 01/06 at 6:30 PM and you can register for free on the link below.

Ensemble 01

Added April 2022

Delighted to share that I am part of the curating team (and exhibiting) for a new exhibition with ArtCan in Paris!

Ensemble 01 is the first exhibition from ArtCan for Kroll in Paris, following successful annual exhibitions at the Kroll offices in London and New York. The Paris Kroll office is not stranger to the art community, and the entire business hub is one giant art piece signed by Felice Varini, the visual artist famous for his work In anamorphisis, whose colourful, strategically placed, and playful lines have given a soul to its brick canvas.

The exhibition is taking place from May till December at the @kroll office in Paris and the PV will take place on the 31st of May. The PV is guest list only and subsequent visits are by appointment so PM me if you would like to attend!

La Condamine

Added February 2022

In January, I joined the French art organisation La Condamine. The most attentive readers of this website might remember the name from the joint show that ArtCan and La Condamine organised last year and which I was part of (Our Time | Notre Temps).

As a big believer in artists supporting other artists and the large benefits to be had in being part of art communities, I had been eagerly waiting for the new membership year to start so I could join.

It is early days, of course, but I am already happy to be a member: they have a range of courses and webinars through the year, which look very useful, and the artists involved look amazing and very supportive!

I am looking forward to exchanging with their members and the organising team through the year!

This exhibition has been curated by the talented artist KV Duong, and it will be a salon hang with around 70 artists, all looking at what winter means to them.
