Illustration + Print Open- Deptford Does Art

In December 2020, I took place in Deptford Does Art’s Illustration +Print Open.

After a year in lockdown, it was great to have an in-person exhibition, with a lot of great printmakers and artists.

Deptford does Art is a great shop, carrying stock from a lot of independent makers and creators in the ground floor shop, and with a lovely exhibition and event spaces below. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!

Artists Walk 2020

In December 2020, I took place in the first Artists Walk in North London.

This great initiative, launched by the fabulous Holly Collier and Rosha Nutt, brought the gallery outdoors. They got lots of artists to display art in their window across London but particularly in North London.

They also got Alexandra Palace involved, with a selection of works (including my First Snow print, 3rd from left in the top row of the image) displayed across the windows of the building.

ArtCan Membership

In 2020 I became a member of the wonderful ArtCan organisation. this vibrant community of artists encourages collaboration, provides networking and exhibition opportunities, to help artists grow and nurture their practice with the support of a lot of like-minded peers and friends of the art.

I have talked more about how great their support has been for me in a blog post but to summarise it: it has been invaluable in my growth and development in 2021 and I am looking forward to many more years of being member.

People of Print

In 2020, I became a member of People of Print, and started selling my prints other Department Store platform.

People of Print is a great community, bringing together printmakers using all sorts of mediums, illustrators and artists and I am really pleased to be a part of it.

Their motto is Print isn’t dead, and when I see the breadth and originality of contents created by their members, I couldn’t agree more!
